Staying safe online

At Woodsetts Primary we appreciate the educational value of using the Internet. However, we also know that there are some pitfalls and dangers. This section includes resources for families and children to help stay safe online.

The resources page on Childnet includes interactive stories, games, information posters and activities for all age groups.

Jessie & Friends is a three-episode animated series and resource pack all about online safety. It has been awarded the PSHE Association Quality Mark.

A range of resources aimed at children in Key Stage 2 to help teach about online safety and cyber-bullying.

Our Online Safety Curriculum

We have updated our online safety curriculum to help ensure our children learn to be effective, respectful and safe digital citizens.

You can access our computing scheme of work which includes our online safety lessons here:

We also make use of the Google Internet Legends Programme in KS2. Info about this can be found online at:

We also engage in regular events and ways to promote our online safety messages. This includes engaging in the annual Internet Safety Day:

Our assemblies and weekly Class Briefing also gives us opportunities to revisit our SMART Rules:
