Welcome to Year 2

Hello and welcome to Year Two! Here you will be able to find lots of information and updates all about our exciting learning so please check our page regularly.

In Year Two, we will be working hard to develop the skills you have already learnt and really master the curriculum. We will have lots of new and interesting learning taking place which will challenge and excite each and every one of you. Children will have lots of opportunities to develop their skills and enthusiasm for subjects across the curriculum as well as developing themselves as a Woodsetts Learner.

If you ever have any questions or would like to discuss something, please do not hesitate to contact me, my door is always open.

Transition for September 2021

To help aid transition, we have created a short clip to help introduce you to your new teacher and a presentation to help you learn more about your new class. We hope this helps. We will also explore other ways we can support the children to help them feel ready for their new classes.

Click here to view the "Welcome to Y2" presentation.

Below is a short welcome message from Miss Couldwell to say "Hello" to all of the new Year 2 children.
