This year, National School Meals Week (NSMW) will fall on 4th to 8th November 2013.
There has never been a better time to celebrate everything that is great about a school lunch and that is the theme for this years event.
The Great School Lunch is this year’s initiative to get as many pupils in England and Wales to try a school food during National School Meals Week 2013.

After they had finished their SAT's year 6 enjoyed a creative session where they wrote a story based on th Woodles characters they had been given. Year 6 children worked in pairs and as a class we choose our favourite three stories. As these stories where for foundation stage children, who better to judge the final ones then our own foundation stage pupils. After the winning story had been chosen we visited Rawmarsh C.L.C where we created the pages for our electronic book. One of the girls from year six read the story, can you guess who it is? Finally the pages and the story where put together to create our Woodles story 'The Wedding Disaster,' we hope you enjoy it.

These jackets (which are identified with the school name on their backs) will allow easy identification of pupils when out of the school and we appreciate the work of the PTA in providing this resource.
Thanks to Mrs Edwards for her time spent in raising the money necessary to help keep our children safe.
A 15,000 audience watched Woodsetts Primary School's Choir, together with dozens of choirs from other schools in South Yorkshire, at the Sheffield Arena last night. Having worked hard for many months practicing, and having the concert postponed once due to the bad weather, Woodsetts' Choir finally got to perform! Many thanks to Miss Brindley and all those that have helped to make last night possible. Videos coming soon!
We are thrilled to welcome the 6th Form students from Dinnington Comprehensive school who all live in Woodsetts who have agreed to give an hour of their time to coach our Y6 maths group. This is an hour every Tuesday after school. Olivia in Y6 said "It great having a new person to help me in peace and quiet!” We are grateful to Dinnington Comprehensive School for their support.

Question of the Week
W/C 10th July 2017
How do you feel when you want something very badly and you cannot have it? Why is this so important to have?
(To support and encourage the children's understanding of their own thoughts and opinions, linked to life, national and global affairs, we give the children a weekly title to research and write about in their own or school time. Once a week during school time the children are given the opportunity to complete this task in a writing journal. For children who want to explore this further at home with family and friend we give prizes.)
